The last 10 weeks have not been easy. It is impossible to put into words the highs and lows - fortunate for me the former exceeded the latter. Starting out at 130kg and finishing in just 10 weeks at 112kg gives me a great sense of achievement. But this is only the start and I endeavour to continue this blog with as much information as I can.Without being too obvious I would sincerely like to praise the work that the AMP2 tabs have done. There is definitely a sense of warmth within a half hour of taking them and the first few weeks of taking them felt like a “fog” had been pushed out of my head - much like recovering from a head cold. There is a definite lift in energy without a negative side effect. I know what a caffeine shake feels like and there is none of that with these products. Green Tea as an additional digestive aid and fat loss utility looks like it worked but with the AMP2 playing such a dominant part it may be hard to prove categorically.
I have quite a journey ahead of me as I am still overweight.
I am in control of what I need to do to continue losing weight.
I am confident that my goal will be reached.

Final week - need to really make an effort to be good this week. Not that I have been too bad throughout the past 9 weeks but I want to finish with a good result.Breakfast is in the car again. A mix of wholegrain bread, eggs, cheese, make it easy to eat whilst barreling down the freeway to Sydney. I miss the morning walks but you have to pay the bills too. Pop the 2 AMP and green tea tabs as I cross the Hawkesbury.
Lunch in the fridge consists of home made rissoles on Monday and Tuesday. Very nice alternate even if they do take forever to make!! Wednesday sees chicken breast (from the BBQ the night before) with onion and salad greens whilst Thursday I treat myself to a nice piece of steak and Friday’s lamb chops with the fat cut off (oh the pain!) are nice cold. Add a healthy dose of salad to each meal and we’re done. I am going to have to experiment with varied veg - the staples mentioned before are getting a bit boring so I look forward to our trip to the shops soon! More AMP2 and green tea and on Wednesday I broke out in a sweat which was interesting.
Dinner - Sunday is easy with a charcoal chook from the local - very nice and easy after being out for most of the day. Monday we enjoy a veal, chicken and mushroom fettuccine that leaves nothing but our tongues hanging out for more. Tuesday is a boys night with my son and I surfing Fox for something decent to watch whilst chowing on a BBQ feast of mini steak and chicken breast burgers. I have half a roll to reduce the carbs (like an open burger) and melt cheese over the meal. Wednesday rolls around and the family enjoys pork chops (mine with “most of” the fat cut off) with hot veg. I refrain from having garlic bread which is very hard to do. Thursday and Friday are busy nights in our household and I take the easy option and hunt down any leftovers in the fridge. I find some chicken and steak and make a salad and then plonk in front of the box to see how the other weight loss experts are doing. I vow to never watch that show again.
Drum roll. . . . . . . . . . . .my weight loss for the week comes in at a steady 2 kilo loss. That gives me a total of 18 kilos for the 10 week journey.

I wake up wondering why the heck I watched “that show” during the week. You know the one where they are also trying to lose weight. To think they can lose in a week that took me 6 is just not natural. Anyway I vow to not watch it again and plow ahead on my own path.Breakfast this week has mainly been boiled eggs woofed down in the car to work. Add a few slices of wholegrain bread and maybe a 50g serve of cheddar and I am feeling good! 2 x AMP2 and green tea tabs provide a logistical hurdle at 110km/h down the freeway but spillage is kept under control.
Working in an office again plays with my mind even more. I am sure one of them is recording how many trips I take to the water cooler and then again to the end result. Luckily I enjoy what I do so that makes my day go by pleasantly.
Lunch is around 12:30 where I retrieve my carefully packed Tupperware from the staffroom fridge. I sneak a peek at the others in there and smile knowing I have the best meal available and cringe when I see KFC and Macca’s bags brought in by some of the guys.
I have prepared BBQ chicken thigh and salad (again) and it seems to work well for me. I am definitely feeling full. I ran out of chook by Friday and substituted red meat and realized it had been quite some time since I had enjoyed a steak. An amp2 and green tea tab are consumed and I get some strange looks when I also down the fish oil…
Leftover chook and greens provide a welcome distraction to the traffic on the way home and keep the hunger pains away for a little longer.
Dinner. Sunday lamb roast!! Monday chicken pie, Tuesday BBQ chicken (plus just a few chips), Wednesday steak Dianne made with light cream (YUM!), Thursday home made rissoles, Friday is BBQ chook again, Saturday is quick and easy with steak sandwiches. I try to keep the salad greens going and most nights do well.
The official weigh-in shows a kilo gone! Smiling from ear to ear with the 16kg total so far.

If it wasn’t for the AMP2 I reckon I would have given up by now. I think of it as a little helping hand to boost my energy so that I can get used to the calorie deficiency in my diet. With an average of 1800 calories going in each day it is a massive difference to what I used to consume. And the quality of food is so different as well. Keeping up with fresh food has been a challenge from a variety point of view and preparing meals ahead of time so you don’t get caught out is a skill I am yet to perfect. My morning walks have to stop as I no longer work from home - new contract has landed and must travel to Sydney. Exercise is reduced to evening walks or bike sessions. The weekend gives me a chance to get out and chase the kids around in the fresh air.
Breakfast is continuing to be a nightmare. Today I am craving sausages!! All I want is to get out on the BBQ and listen to the sizzle of meat and drown them in sauce and wash that all down with a huge pot of coffee… Back to reality and I choose to prepare chicken and mushroom omelettes that I can re-heat during the week. The Wife’s Tupperware is great and works well. Like clockwork I down 2 x AMP2 and green tea tabs. Alternates this week include adding fresh capsicum whilst munching on protein pancakes and Friday I even went so far as to enjoy that sausage I so craved…..
Lunch has been a strict regime of chicken breast or red meat. This week is no different! I choose chicken thigh fillet as my source of nourishment and cook up a whole BBQ full to cater for the week ahead. Simple veg like lettuce, capsicum, cucumber and carrots make appearance on my plate and from this week I am also taking an AMP2 and green tea tab with lunch.
A little lunch is leftover and I munch on that whilst driving home so that can act like an afternoon snack.
Dinners have been great. A variety of culinary delights have been crossing my plate this week. Even though some of them are normally on the banned substance list (pasta, pie) I alter the quantity I consume and fill the plate with more veg. I think this variety has saved me mentally!
Scale weight this week reveals a 2kg loss! Very pleased with the result.

Another week down and my energy levels are improving. An early start this morning for cricket halted the weigh in as we leave for my 10yo rep games in Sydney at 8am… Weighing in at night gave a 0kg result which has to be expected after a great run of results. This week has been tough going too. I have found out exactly how bland chicken really is! I love using my BBQ to do lunch but geez it is getting boring. In some detail -
Breakfast has been a steady 2 eggs (yes whole eggs) and then mixing the additional protein as some chicken (see above) or bacon (yep!) or my super protein pikelets….Need to remember to take AMP2 and Green Tea before food. I did it the other way around on Wednesday and paid the price and felt it all morning.. 2 AMP2 and 2 Green Tea tabs give me a nice morning kick into gear…
Rarely had a need for a mid-morning munch but an apple was regularly consumed to add some much needed flavour.
Lunch - on the BBQ again. I really try to mix it up by portioning steak and chicken together. Some days I know the pieces are bigger than what I “should” have but it relieves the boredom. Salad greens are a regular accompaniment and I reckon I have downed 3L of H2O by this meal…
Afternoon snack is skipped the whole week to balance out the larger lunch portions.
Dinner - what can I say - more chicken! I try to stick to chicken as it is quick to prepare and even though it does get tedious in taste each day I really don’t have too many options… One exception was going out for dinner for my 13yo Birthday to the Sailing Club. I had THE BEST piece of Barramundi I have EVER had in my life. I make a note to bring more fish into my diet which could go a long way to relieve the aforementioned boredom. I am taking 4 Fish Oil tabs with each meal but eating the real thing will be better.
All up I stick to less than 2000 calories per day throughout the week.
I have ordered another bottle of AMP2 from Ryan at Elitebody.com.au so I can take them with lunch. I fear a small plateau and don’t mind the helping hand it will give.
My 10yo’s team won both their 20/20 matches today - so it is at the end, a good day.
TC.

Back again for another weekly update.Sunday weigh in produces a healthy 2kg loss! I am so happy about it and I can feel clothes being too big - especially around my thighs and butt.
Breakfasts have been a steady stream of protein from eggs/chicken and carbs from oats and fruit, mainly apples as they are low GI.
Each morning I have taken 2 AMP2 tabs and 2 Green Tea tabs as per Ryan’s advice and they are still providing a great energy boost and I honestly think they are contributing to my weight loss. Mental note - need to get more supps next week.
Mid morning snacks are making a comeback this week. Either simple rissoles or protein pikelets are wolfed down with a litre of water take the edge off my hunger.
Lunch all week has been chicken breast. My wholeslae butcher had them at $7 a kilo and I literlally filled any space in the freezer weith them! On the BBQ or between 2 slices of wholegrain, I am suprised with the variety you can achieve with the humble chook. Hint - check out recipes on SM for next week. Salad greens add flavour and crunch to the meal.
Afternoon snack is infrequent. I try to down another piece of fruit or rissole but can only manage that a few days this week…
Dinner - this week I had 2 cheat meals. The first on Wed was KFC but I stuck to the fillets and didn’t have too many of them. Friday was a hamburger from the local with fries and potato scollaps. Geez they were nice but I could definitely notice the effect on Sat morning - bit of a bloat and lethargy… Other meals were steak and veg, chicken and veg, lamb roast and veg - pretty simple but tasty!
Have to admit exercise in the garage with the wet and cold weather we are getting right now isn’t appealing so I do some light weights every other day. I am making progress so don’t beat myself up too much about missing days. Elite Body advises AMP2 about a half hour prior to training and the energy boost it gives is most welcome.

Thanks for the comments guys. I was beginning to think no-one was watching. This week has been much better mentally.
Breakfast - Have added mushrooms (100g) most mornings to my omelette. Nice change! I made protein pancakes on Werd/Thurs which also added variety. By replacing 70% of flour with protein powder, an additional egg and extra water.
Lunch - My butcher had scotch fillet at $9 a kilo so I bought heaps and alternated steak with chicken breast day by day. I added green vegies (snow peas, cucumber, capsicum, broccholi) to add flavour too.
Dinner - varied so much this week. The week started off so well with chicken and either salad or cooked veg. Sunday was a complete mess as my 10yo and I visited the SCG with some friends to watch the mighty Aussies crush the Kiwis and keep the series alive…
Weight loss this week was a confidence boosting 3kg! Physically I don’t see a lot of change and I definitely have more energy.
I keep taking the AMP2 and Green Tea with the morning meal and again about a half hour before any exercise in the evening. It provides a good boost of energy that I need with a caloric deficient diet.

Sunday morning starts with a quick weigh in and I am not suprised with staying the same, in fact I expected this week to stagnate.Chose to swim this morning - my shins are asking for a day off.
Breakfast is a bowl of oats with whole milk and 2 boiled eggs - something different. 2 x AMP2 and 2 x Green Tea tabs clear the fog in my head.
Lunch comes around quickly and half a chicken breast is on the BBQ beside the kids snags. Salad balances out the meat half of the plate.
Dinner. I am requested to make chicken dianne. Mindful I use light cream and skip the sugar - and I am hoping the garlic does some internal good too. Baked potato, steamed peas and cauliflower are the chosen carbs for the meal.
In front of the cricket I do pushups, leg raises, sit ups and a few other varieties to convince myself I am doing OK.

Early wake up for 10yo cricket match means no walking…
Breakfast is a few slices of wholegrain with vegemite and cheese washed down with a black coffee….
Too hot to eat this morning… I down plenty of water as the temperature heads north. Kids win their match and we’re out to lunch.
Chicken schnitzel and salad - yum!!
Afternoon snack is dismissed and dinner ends up as a BBQ chicken.
I muster the will do do a small session in the garage but not serious about it so I stop.
Sunday has to be better (mentally)…..
